Passes & Subscriptions
Owning & using passes, redeeming promos, and managing subscriptions.
Common questions
Passes can come from a membership pass you bought, a voucher from a promo code, a Reschedule Pass (from a reschedule or a refund), a credit pass, or a pass your studio imported from its old system.
Each pass shows its nominal value, type (single-use or unlimited), expiration date, status (active/used/expired), and its source. You get a reminder notification 5 days before a pass expires.
Enter the code in the Pass or Promo Code section when you register. A valid code gives you a voucher that must be used to register within 1 hour, and entering the same code again within 24 hours doesn't give a new voucher.
A refused code is not always a typo: it may be past its validity, its quota may be used up, or you may have reached its per-participant limit. A voucher also only works on that host's activities whose tags match.
A host can move their members and remaining passes into KUYY. Sign in to the KUYY app or website with the email you gave the studio; there is no need to register again, the account has been created and you sign in the usual way, with the OTP code sent to that email. The passes are under My Pass with the package name, remaining sessions and expiry the studio set, and work like any pass bought on KUYY.
If My Pass is empty, the email you used probably differs from the one in the studio's records, or the studio has not imported its data yet. Ask the studio; the KUYY team cannot see member data from the old system. If you already had a KUYY account under that email, the passes went into that account without changing your name or phone number.
A pass can be used if it's still active and not expired when the activity starts (a voucher from a promo code only has to be used before the voucher itself expires), if it's from the same host or an allowed branch, and if its tags match the activity: a tagged pass only for activities with the same tag, an untagged pass only for untagged activities.
A pass only reduces the ticket price, never the price of add-ons. If the validity period is counted from when you first join an activity, the date comparison uses Asia/Jakarta time.
The subscription card under Settings then Subscriptions shows the package name, host, price per period, remaining passes/credit, renewal date, payment method, and status.
It is billed automatically each period with the method you subscribed with; new pass subscriptions are paid by credit card, and unused credits carry over to the next period.
You can cancel anytime with Cancel subscription on its card. The subscription stays active until the next billing date and then stops being billed. Once it has ended, you can subscribe again with Resubscribe.
A subscription paid with KUYY Balance shows an Insufficient balance warning when your balance won't cover the next billing. A KUYY Premium subscription bought in the app is cancelled in Google Play or the App Store.
Full guide
Detailed rules for each related feature, plus important notes.
You can buy passes from a host to join their activities, redeem promo codes, and subscribe to passes that are billed automatically. The passes you own are in My Pass, with their value, remaining quota, validity, and status.
- •Buy a pass from the host's page, an activity page, or the pass list, then pay within 30 minutes (15 minutes for blu). A pass purchase carries the admin fee unless it's paid in full with KUYY Balance, and only promo vouchers can discount a pass purchase.
- •All your passes are in My Pass, with the filters All, Active, Used, and Expired.
- •Redeem a promo code by typing it in the Enter promo code field. The code is checked: it must be within its promo period, have quota left, and not exceed the per-person usage limit. A redeemed voucher is valid for 1 hour, so use it right away.
- •When you register, pick the pass you want to use. A pass can only be used by its owner, must be active, valid when the activity starts, from the same host (or an allowed branch), and its tags must match. In the app, the first matching pass is selected automatically. If the activity has a flash sale running, the pass is spent against the flash sale price.
- •A pass doesn't discount add-ons. For several people at once, one quota per person is used from the same pass purchase, starting with the one that expires soonest. A pass with a fixed value takes its whole value off the seats in that order, so if it's worth more than one seat, the rest comes off your friends' seats.
- •If the activity costs more than the pass covers, you pay the difference.
- •You get a reminder 5 days before a pass expires.
- •Pass subscriptions are paid by credit card and billed automatically every period. Manage them in Settings, Subscriptions: if you cancel, the subscription keeps running until the next billing date and then stops, and you can subscribe again at any time.
Important notes
• Passes and subscriptions are different: a pass is an asset you own individually, while a subscription is recurring billing for a Membership pass.
• Passes can also come from a Reschedule Pass (from a reschedule or a refund) or from a member import by the host.
• A Credit pass works like a wallet at that host and can't be withdrawn, while a Membership pass holds a quota for joining activities. The two are shown separately in My Pass.
